We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our 2‑Day Mushroom Foraging & Learning Experience, held on 16–17 August 2026, organized by the mushroom laboratory MBUST and MushroomsofNepal with support from Chitlang Village Resort, in the beautiful surroundings of Chitlang and MBUST, Makwanpur. This immersive journey brought together nature enthusiasts, students, and researchers for an unforgettable blend of outdoor adventure and scientific demonstrations. From guided jungle expeditions and mushroom collection to hands‑on laboratory sessions, including tissue culture, DNA sampling, and drying techniques, participants gained invaluable insights into mycology under the expert guidance of our dedicated team of foragers and MBUST faculty. The warm hospitality of the local homestays, the cultural village tour, and the spirit of shared learning made this event truly special.
