A meeting to discuss about the collaboration between Madan Bhandari University of
Science and Technology (MBUST) and Geokrishi was held on January 13, 2023 at the
office of Geokrishi at Thapathali. Participants in the meeting were as follows:

2. Prof. Sanjay Nath Khanal, External Relations and Resource Generation Expert,
MBUST
3. Dr. Bhushan Shrestha, Mycology Expert, MBUST
4. Dr. Anupama Shrestha, Plant Pathology Expert MBUST
5. Mr. Saumya Bhandari, Wiseyak
6. Mr. Surajan Prasai, Wiseyak
7. Mr. Rajan Bajracharya, Geokrishi
8. Mr. Bikash Dongol,Geokrishi

Geokrishi (https://geokrishi.farm/) and MBUST activities in the area of agriculture were
shared in the meeting with a view to identify areas of mutual interest. It was agreed to
collaborate in the area of the use of the digital technology in agriculture at Chitlang and
adjoining areas. To maximize the impact of the collaboration it was agreed to cover the
entire value chain of specific crops. It was agreed to select specific crops based on
discussions with farmers and consultations between MBUST and Geokrishi. Preliminary
discussions on modalities for cooperation was also held.
