Sudip Pandey is a natural product consultant with a focus on environmental issues. He has completed a PhD in Environmental Science from University of Padova, Italy (https://www.tesaf.unipd.it/en/research/doctoral-degrees-phd-lerh-program/teachers-and-students). He has two master degrees, one in Forestry and Natural Resource Management (Erasmus Mundus Programme, MEDfOR – https://www.medfor.eu/edition/1st-edition-20122014) with a scholarship from the European Union and the other in Environmental Science with specialization in mountain environment from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Dr. Pandey worked at Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research (WSL), Zurich, Switzerland; University of Padova, Department of Land, Environment, Agriculture and Forestry, Italy; University of Valladolid, Research Institute on Sustainable Forest Management, Spain; Universidade de Lisboa, Instituto Superior de Agronomia, Portugal.

He was a recipient of CARIPARO foundation international PhD Scholarships along with grants for three years doctorate ESU full board and lodging at the University of Padova, Italy in 2015. He has received a research grant from WSL, Switzerland for analyzing the stable isotopes of tree rings and research fellowship (28 months) from Nepal Academy of Science and Technology for converting forest waste to energy. His research interests are climate change and its impacts on high altitude forest with the approach of dendroanatomy, forest inventory, park people conflict, forest ecology, human use of natural resources and phytochemical constituents of medicinal plants. He has published books, journal articles in reputed national and international journal.
