The Digital Technology (DT) Program at Madan Bhandari University of Science and Technology (MBUST) is a forward-looking academic initiative designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving digital world. Anchored in the principles of innovation, interdisciplinarity, and societal relevance, the program blends theoretical foundations with practical applications in areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, Internet of Things, cybersecueity, digital forensic, digital systems, and emerging technologies.
As a flagship program within MBUST’s vision to foster future-ready scientists and professionals, the DT Program emphasizes hands-on learning through project-based coursework, collaborative labs, and community-engaged digital solutions. Students are encouraged to work on real-world challenges, harnessing digital tools to address issues in sectors like agriculture, health, governance, and crisis management.
The program also prepares students for global competitiveness by integrating industry-aligned curricula, ethical considerations, and emerging research themes. We plan to offer Master of Applied Science in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics and an
undergrad program specializing in AI, DS and Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics. In addition,
we intend to offer interdisciplinary undergrad program in Business and Technology.
